Are your bath bombs safe for children?

Yes. Our kids bath bombs are made with gentle ingredients and food-grade colours, and every Bath Buddies bath product carries the CE mark. They are tested to the toy safety standards EN71 (EU and UK), ISO 8124 (global, including Australia and New Zealand) and ASTM F963-23 (USA). They’re suitable for children aged 3 and over due to the size of the sponge toys inside, and children should always be supervised by an adult in the bath.

Where can I buy childrens bath bombs?

You can buy our children’s bath bombs online right here at Bath Buddies NZ. You’ll also find Bath Buddies at selected stockists around New Zealand.

Will they stain my bath or child?

No. Our colourants only change the colour of the water. They won’t stain your bath, your child, their hair, face cloths or towels. If any colour remains, simply rinse the bath with fresh water.

What age are they suitable for?

Our bath bombs, Bath Beans and Bath Sprinkles are suitable for children aged 3 and over, due to the size of the sponge toys inside. Children should always be supervised by an adult in the bath.

Is there a toy inside every bath bomb?

Yes! Every Sprudel bath bomb has a sponge toy hidden inside, with over 50 different shapes to collect. Bath Beans usually have two sponge toys in each Bean. Once dry, the toys can be kept and played with again and again.

Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

Our bath products are made for children and contain no essential oils or perfumes. They have been dermatologically tested. If your child has a skin condition or allergies, please check the ingredients on the product page and speak to your doctor before use.

When will I get my order?

All stock is held in Auckland and orders ship within 1 business day. We use Aramex, Courierit and NZ Post (for rural deliveries), and you’ll receive tracking details by email once your order is on its way. Free shipping on orders over $120, including rural. Please note we can’t deliver to PO Box addresses. See our Shipping page for more details.

Is Buds nail polish safe for kids?

Buds Kids Nail Polish is non-toxic and plant-based, made from 82% naturally derived ingredients without formaldehyde, toluene or DBP. It’s vegan, cruelty-free and made in Australia, and is suitable for ages 3+ with adult supervision.

Are water beads safe for kids?

Our water beads are suitable for children aged 5 and over and must always be used with adult supervision. They are small and a choking hazard, so keep them away from mouths and never swallow them. When you’ve finished playing, they’re biodegradable and can be dug into the garden.
